A bilingual booking and quoting platform that turns visitors into booked clients — no email back-and-forth.
Overview
CAD Studio is a photography studio working in Canada and Sri Lanka. We built their full production website in English and French. Visitors can browse the studio's work, compare packages, get an instant price estimate and book a date on the spot. The owner runs pricing, availability, bookings and content from a custom admin dashboard, with no code changes needed.
The Problem
Quoting and booking ran over email. Prices depend on hours, photographers, add-ons, travel, weekends, holidays and provincial sales tax, so every enquiry needed a manual reply. Leads went cold while they waited, and the owner had to keep the calendar in their head to avoid double-booking.
The Solution
We built a pricing engine that gives clients a live, itemised estimate in the browser and re-checks it on the server, where its result is the one that counts. Bookings are written inside serializable database transactions, so two clients can never take the last free slot. Every price, tax rate and rule is stored in the database and managed from the admin dashboard, so the owner can change the business without touching code.
